Crossing the Line specialises in interior and exterior paintwork for both existing, renovated and new construction homes, as well as a range of commercial projects of various sizes. Crossing the Line's small, dynamic team services the Sydney metropolitan and beyond. Director and owner Greg Zemek is meticulous, having 14 years experience and approaches his work with integrity, enthusiasm and passion. Greg is fully-licensed, with a trade-certificate in painting as a licensed contractor, and holds an OH&S green card, first-aid certificate and public liability insurance to the value of $10 million dollars. All our employees are protected by WorkCover insurance. All projects above $1,000 require a Home Building Contract by the Office of Fair Trading to protect both parties, which will be provided by Crossing the Line Painting and Decorating.

We are all about quality and the importance of following a systematic approach to operating procedures ensuring our high standards are maintained. Depending upon your requirements our interior procedures may follow the removal of furniture to the centre of the room covering them and covering the floor with drop cloths. We will wash surface areas using sugar soap to remove any grease and dirt. We will then fill imperfections and lightly sanding surface areas allowing adhesion of undercoats and topcoats. At Crossing the Line we will always use two topcoats on all surfaces.

Exterior procedures start with a wash down to remove dirt and mould. Appropriate surface preparations may involve the removal of flaky, peeling, cracking or blistering paint to a smooth surface allowing adhesion for primers and topcoats.

Upon completion, we will clean windows, vacuum floors or clean outdoor areas to their original state. Inspection of the project will occur to ensure our high standards are maintained. We value customer feedback and provide a satisfaction survey for clients to fill out, allowing us to grow and improve.
